We joined the “28 for All” campaign

We’ve joined the 28 for All campaign, a growing coalition calling for a Single Market that actually works in practice, not just on paper. The proposal is simple: a “28th regime” that allows companies to operate across Europe under one clear set of rules, instead of navigating 27 different systems.

This matters.

Fragmentation doesn’t just slow business, it blocks circular models that rely on scale, repair, reuse, and cross-border activity.

Europe doesn’t need more complexity. It needs clarity. We’re supporting this initiative because a functioning Single Market is essential for both competitiveness and circularity.

The signatoriesurge the EU and its Member States to rise to the ambition of a 28^thRegime that is:

1.     Open to all. Regardless of sector, size, or date of incorporation. Restrictingaccess to start-ups or spuriously defined ‘’innovative’’ firms would defeat thepurpose of a Single Market instrument. Every business should be able to opt into become a European company.

2.     A regulation. Any legal form subject to national transposition would recreate thevery fragmentation this reform is meant to eliminate. For this reason, only aregulation can guarantee direct and harmonised applicability.

3.     Simple. Registering under the 28th Regime must be at least asstraightforward as under existing national frameworks. The once-only anddigital-by-default principles should therefore be non-negotiable.

It is high time toturn the promises of boosting competitiveness into concrete action. Thesignatories stand ready to collaborate with the EU institutions and MemberStates to make the 28^th Regime the transformative framework Europeneeds.
